About this blog
…because the Philippine government has a “cash cow” mindset when it comes to Overseas Filipino Workers. (Read “On Milking the Cash Cow”)
About the author
…for I am also an OFW. I have dreams, I am rational and I want to be heard… Hailed as a modern-day hero in the Philippines… in truth, OFWs are “cash cows” of the government.

Makabagong bayani daw...

joe? idatchu? saw your comment on jon’s blog. pagkakita ko sa name, napaisip ako. but blogs don’t load properly here at the office, kaya di ako sure. i’ll try to open it outside the office to be sure. pero kung ikaw si joe na dati kong officemate, welcome to wpp!!!

Joe: Ako nga yata si Joe hehe. Gimme your blog link.
Kumusta, Joe,
Katuwa itong blog mo, genuine OFW thoughts. At sariling bulsa, I mean, excepts no one.
Keep on writing!
Warm regards from the Philippines.

Hi. i’m on the process of preparing for my wedding. and we were planning to have it in filipino. i was wondering if i could have a copy of the misalette and invitation? it would be a huge, huge help.
By the way, i like your blog. I used to be an ofw and my husband to be is also an ofw. i must say, iba pa rin ang pinas. incomparable. and those foreign employers who continues to put down filipinos but still hire them. what gives? you know what? kasi masisipag tayo. kudos to all ofws. thanks again.

Hello Joe,
I read your blog… indeed a real eye opener. Thanks for that.
Anyway, can I ask you a copy of your tagalog misalette. I am an OFW by the way, and going back to the Philippines for my wedding on September. Gusto sana namin ng kasal sa wikang tagalog, but could hardly find any materials. Could you help us please? Can you as well send soft copy of your tagalog invites.
Thank you so much. Your blog is such a blessing to me. it led me to your tagalog misalette.
Thanks.
